It's all in the past. The frustration, the disappointment, the collapse. Now, it's time to move on!
OPENING DAY IS HERE!!!
Sure the 2013 Boston Red Sox have some question marks on the roster, but this could be a season of breakout performances, rookie phenoms, and some bounceback performances from some of our most beloved players. We've got John Farrell at the helm, and even Pedro has returned to work in the front office to try and bring a new attitude to the organization. And, what better way to get things started than in the heart of the Evil Empire, in the Bronx against the New York Yankees. It will be strange seeing Youkilis clean shaven and wearing pinstripes, but, 2013 has to be about moving on.
So, let's get together and do what we do. Let's come together as devoted and passionate members of Red Sox Nation and cheer on our boys as they take arms against the team we love to hate, the New York Yankees. Opening Day is always our highest attendance, so it's a great opportunity to welcome new folks to the crew and to see all the regulars.
I'm pretty sure that we'll have some specials and possibly some raffles going on to help us celebrate the new season (to be confirmed,) so let's cheer, laugh, eat and drink our way to victory!
The game starts at NOON on Monday, April 1st. Who works on Opening Day anyways??
I can't wait to see you all there and to get this 2013 season underway!
