Hi Blanton, You are correct, access to Crowders Mt. State Park is free. On this group's outings we meet at Reedy Creek Nature Center, we load a Park and Rec van and we drive participants there and back. The hike is led by one of our environmental educators at Reedy Creek who will do some interpretation along the trail. The fee is to offset some of the costs for the convenience that we provide to our participants and have a professional staff with them during the outing. If you decide to join us on this hike please call the nature center to register at [masked].

    Happy Trails,

    Pepe
