Amanda Lewan: "Building Online Communities"

In a digital media world saturated with click bait, buzzfeed, and a floods of tweets, how can you stand out and build your own community? Amanda will share what has and hasn't worked for Michipreneur, a growing online community for Michigan startups, and hopefully offer some insight you can use for your own digital publishing.

This talk will highlight trends in current digital media, blogging and social media strategies, and general creative guidance for starting or growing your own online community.

Hi Eric, I was busy tweeting and taking photos last night. Not sure who might have taken notes. Anyone? Depending on my time, I can try to put a Storify together.

Hi Scott, good to see you again! We had a lot of new people who attended last night, it was a good mix of "old" and "new" members. Hopefully next time we can find someone who can car pool with you from Ann Arbor.
