Pair Program at an Americas friendly time

!!!!!! TIME OF MEETING IS 6:30PM UTC, 11:30AM PST !!!!!

Okay, so it's still early in the day on the Pacific coast, but how about this more Americas friendly time?  The key thing is that we all come online, chat and work out what we fancy remote pair programming on.

Feel free to connect to me on Skype (username "tansaku") to join the live remote pair programming text chat room that helps us coordinate these things. And by all means let's chat about what we'd like to pair on in the chat associated with the event. In the last session before Xmas it was all jasmine testing in rails, but we're all ears for what you'd like to work on next :-)

I'll post a google hangout link 5 minutes in advance of the event, and if you happen to be in London, England you can join us in person :-)

Note the UTC time is 6:30pm

It's now right after 6:30pm UTC - assuming the hangout is the one linked on the agileventures.org page, I'm the only one there...

I'd like to work on HTML5 hybrid apps (specifically start with getting , <video> to work in the cordova (phonegap) build). Anyone else interested in JS, CSS and native wrapping of webview apps.

There've been a few people mentioning phonegap and HTML5 apps on phones recently - I think Viv was one ...

A separate topic: Since March 9th, the US are on daylight saving time; So, even WolframAlpha calculates 10:30am PST to be 5:30pm UTC for the 26th.
Which of the two times is the primary one, which one is the (wrongly) calculated one?

heh, thanks for clearing it up; I figured that the UTC time is the primary info (with you based in the UK). The confusion pretty much stems from the event time being the calculated one.

(Also: This comment system has the same issue as in StackOverflow: Enter is evil ;) -- I wanted to add: Thank you also for the link to your main page!

Heya! What setup is required for the session/pairing? For instance, I don't have Skype but should be able to get Google Hangouts running on my development machine.
Will Hangouts be used for the screen sharing, should it come to pair programming? (Any special plugins required for that?)
I assume there's no specific programming language set, is that correct?

      Correct. Only google hangouts required
