We're experimenting with a new format for our virtual meetups and are excited to have more than double attendance of any of our previous events !!
About 45 folks have said they're attending tonight's Basics of Ruby on Rails with Rails Tutor John Davison.
We're giving google+ events and "Hangout Party's" a go as an alternative to IRC. To join in and participate, say "Yes" / attending on:
+1 and share the event to help us get more mentors involved. We're leveraging the AirPair expert network to bring in some Rails code mentors and tutors this evening. But if you're an intermediate / advanced Rails dev that would like to be on the teaching end this evening, please reply to me by email so we can co-ordinate. We could use all the help we can get!
Lastly, if you're not a Rails dev, but interesting in holding another specific technology themed meetup, we'd love to know.
Hopefully see you tonight!
P.S. as always if you need instant pair programming help => http://www.airpair.com/find-an-expert
