Why are you a Republican?

I grew up in a Democratic party and for much of my life believed in the policies. As I got older (and I guess smarter) I saw that larger government did nothing for the people, only the excuse to ask for more taxes. I believe in smaller government, and find what many conservatives say makes sense.

What are your primary concerns regarding our Nation? State? County? City?

Economy, actions with Medicare and disability. My husband is totally disabled, and the runaround and paperwork and misinformation and treatment of people that are truly hurt, and the people that are considered disabled that aren't is absolutely ridiculous.

How active do you hope to be in this group?

I would like to be as active as I can, especially with the 2014 election where we need to take the Senate and retain the House.

Do you consider yourself more a conservative or Republican?

Probably more conservative.

Do you believe the current president of the United States is working for the benefit of the United States and the U.S. Constitution?

A very large no!

My name is Teri Lowe and I am a registered Independent with leanings to the Conservative side. The national government is bad, no more said. College student with a major in Cultural Anthropology going for my BA. I would be honored to meet you.
