So far 2014 has been a rough year for the neocons and old guard of the Republican Party. But it has been an equally positive one for the libertarians, constitutionalists, whackobirds, and tireless grassroots true believers.
Liberty candidate for Congress, Art Alas (Like the Page: Art Alas for Congress 2014), has been meeting voters in his district while volunteers collect signatures. Volunteer at http://electalas.com/
Senate Bill 828, California's 4th Amendment Protection Act has been gaining popularity as people realize the threat of NSA unconstitutional surveillance. Call YOUR state senator and assembly member. Strongly, but respectfully, ask them to support SB828 or introduce equal legislation in the Assembly. If they do not commit to a YES vote, ask them why. If they’re undecided, let them know you’ll call back in a few days. contact information here: http://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/
At our March 1 meeting, we'll prepare for the California Republican Party convention in Burlingame March 14-16 and also discuss the RPLAC endorsement meeting March 8.
The neocons and old guard are losing ground. Recently we've seen the RNC condemn the NSA, and the corruption of GOP establishment darlings is only beginning to be exposed. Now is the time for liberty. Let's show up and make a difference, again!
