Rewilding does not differentiate between land and community and seeks to rebuild the relationship between the two. It can be compared to the re-localization movement but emphasizes a very different way of perceiving the world.
Rewilding recognizes that we're dependent on our landbase and should be striving to maintain a healthy relationship with it, rather than treating it like a property to extract resources from. Bound by the land, its physical characteristics, the food and water it provides and its weather, we recognize that all who live here, both human and non-human, share a common destiny.
Here in this group, we hope to foster and launch rewilding communities within the Los Angeles area. We will do this by helping to organize Rewild Camps, tell stories, share skills, and most importantly, reconnect to our landbase so we can realize that this is where we come from and that we are in fact one and the same.

“ This will be a really unique group/experience in LA. I'm not aware of any other groups like this that exist in the area. ”
