Presentation - Composition, Light and Leading Lines


"Composition, Light and Leading Lines" : Attributes for Good Photos presented by Neil leNobel, a CAPA Certified Judge. In excess of 100 photos will be reviewed and if time permits, there will be a short presentation on "not commonly used techniques" in Photoshop. Both "right brain" and "left brain" individuals should benefit from the presentation. A short question and answer period will end off the evening.

    That was a great presentation on the technical and compositional features that attract a CAPA judges attention. The use of multiple images of the same subject really emphasized some of the points, e.g., placement of the horizon line. I also particularly enjoyed how you involved the audience in assessment of the final two images. I learned some good points from the comments made by the members.
