Ladies: Welcome to another year of fun rides together!
Whatever your ability, you are welcome.
Here's some important info on the road bike rides: We often we have two groups--one group heading out on a 10-12 mile ride at 10-12 mph pace and another going 20-25 at a bit faster pace (around 14 mph). This is a ride for ladies who just want to get out and have some fun and not be left in the dust. We'll learn riding technique, get comfortable with riding the roads and just have some fun. Everyone is welcome! We do ask that your bike is in good working order and that you carry an extra tube for your tire in case of a flat. This year we're asking that you have a bike that is set up for road riding. The bike should have 700cm wheels. If you're riding a comfort bike, we ask that you ride in the slower paced group unless you feel you can maintain a 14 mph pace.We also require you wear an ANSI/SNELL approved helmet.
We want to hear from you: Please feel free to contact Laurie, Deanna, or Mari-Megan if you have questions about our rides. (Jessica is welcoming a new little one in to the world this April, so her friend Deanna will be leading the Women's ride from the Jenison shop)
We love new riders and we have a great group of ladies. Come join us!
