hello everyone, I think it's a shame to just completely ditch "the cement garden", I have read over a third of it now and am actually quite enjoying it which I'm surprised about after the comments last night! Therefore i think we'll do as I suggested in my earlier email to everyone: we'll discuss "the Cement Garden" and "Gods Behaving Badly" so you can all read both or either one whichever you prefer. Hope this suits you all!

I'm flexible, perhaps those of us attending next month could vote on whether to read both or just change to the second choice - The Cement Garden seemed a very unpopular choice last night....

Seems à good idéal Jayne, I would be happy to do as Teresa suggests.

    Hello Jayne,
I enjoyed the discussion last night. As most, if not all, of us present did not relish the prospect of reading the book chosen for June, could we not exceptionally be undemocratic and choose another title.?
    Best wishes to all
