Bob, Joe and I attended your last meeting, which we really enjoyed.  At that time we both joined this  group.  I would like to ask if we could please get our money back,  (you have our address) as I think we made a mistake and joined the wrong group.  We thought we were joining a group of like minded individuals, but I don't think that is the case.  I can't imagine four more years of Obama.  Our great Country will never be the same.  I am sure everyone's comments are true, but our first step has to be getting rid of Obama.  We must get Obamacare repealed, get rid of all the socialist/communists people Obama has put in our government, stop the spending, cut spending, reform entitlements, reform the tax code, lower corporate tax rates, stop shredding of our Constitution, stop loss of our freedoms, get rid of Eric Holder, reform our voting process, close our boders, etc, etc. We can only do this if we stay united.  As far as Romney being Mormon, that does not bother me, and I'm a practicing Catholic.  You must look at the man, his values, his beautiful family which obviously adores him.  Look how he treats his wife and family, how he lives his life, and what he has accomplished. Look what he gives to charity.  There are many famous people who are Mormon, including Glenn Beck.  I believe if we can get Romney/Ryan elected, they will start this Country on the road to recovery.  It simply could not get any worse than this past four years.  Don't bother to reply to me, because I am out of here.  Good luck to all of you, and God Bless our great Country.  Sue Noble

What are you - Brain DEAD?

The interviewer asked Gary Johnson; "Have you heard of the Holy Land Foundation Trial"  Johnson answered "No, I haven't."  I can see how the video was "well crafted to portray a specific position."  The interviewer sure trapped Johnson with his cleverly disguised question, don't you think? Then he REALLY got tricky: He asked if Johnson was familiar with CAIR - The Council on American Islamic Relations and Johnson said" No, I am not."

But, you would vote for this guy.......  And you suggest that I don't know what I'm talking about..... and YOU do!  Amazing.

Your view that the Iranian threat of a nuclear armed ballistic missile attack on Israel is ISRAEL'S problem, speaks for itself. We have a commitment to stand with Israel. But, you would leave them alone to defend themselves against Iran. OK - So you don't stand with Israel either.

Do I have any idea "what it takes to create a working fission bomb?"  Let's see, that was a jeopardy question on last night's show.....  I think you need some fissionable material, which Iran has been getting. Oh yeah, YOU know how much they have and its nothing we should worry about. Whew! I feel a lot better now that YOU have put all the world's concerns to rest. But I'll bet Ahmadinejad has a better handle on this issue than YOU do. He's been working pretty hard to develop that fissionable weapon, but, YOU in your ultimate wisdom and knowledge, have assured us all that IRAN can't hurt us..... YET -  and Israel is on their own.

I suggest you read " Shariah - The Threat to America - The Team BII Report" which was written by 19 of this country's top national security experts.... OH Wait!   They don't know what they're talking about, but you do. Admiral James A. "Ace" Lyons, who was, most recently,  the Commander in Chief of the US Pacific Fleet which just happens to be the largest single military command in the world, but YOU, know better than he does, and ALL the others I refer to. They don't know what they're talking about, but you do...

As far as "no contest" is concerned, I disagree. A report by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life titled "The Future of the Global Muslim Population" projects that the number of Muslims in the world is set to double from 1.1 Billion in 1990 to 2.2 Billion in 2030. Current world population figures for Muslims vary according to the source and range from .700 Billion to 1.5 Billion. As of mid 2010, the Pew Forum's estimate of 1.57 Billion is the most reliable estimate. THAT is the potential threat from Islam and Iran influences vast number of those Muslims way beyond their own borders.

" It is only our meddling that has brought them to the point where they might, and I said might, pose a real threat to our continent."   So, now OUR meddling is responsible for the threat our enemies pose to us?   That's about as Unpatriotic as anything I want hear.

I've argued my points with facts and given you far more courtesy than you deserve. But, when you claim that the threat our enemies pose to us is OUR fault, and we should hang one of our closest Allies out to dry, I WILL call you UNPATRIOTIC and anyone who doesn't like it can k....   .....    disagree.

Where is the equivalent interview with Mitt Romney?

Amazingly enough the first few seconds of a missile launch tell very little about the capability or the potential of such a delivery vehicle. This Shahab 3 has a range of about 800 miles, and is based on a North Korean design (and the news will tell you just how successful the NK missile program is going), no threat to our terra firma - might not be so good for Israel regardless of the payload but that is a different problem and it's Israel's problem.

Most people coming into office from the civilian world know very little about such detailed matters, but there is the opportunity to learn and they get cleared and briefed.

Do you have any idea what it takes to create a working fission bomb?

Do you honestly believe a country that can't maintain their own military aircraft have the ability to fabricate a functional nuke?

The US sold some 38 F-14 Tomcats to the Iranians before the Shah was ousted (part of the 50 years of meddling in the Middle East by The State) and none of them were flying 6 months after the Grumman Maintenance people left in 1979.

It is highly likely that most candidates for office, especially the presidency have little or no clue about many things, including our surveillance and strike capabilities, various geo-political issues and tensions, and the like. Once the president-elect is identified in November, they get briefed with information that is pertinent and relevant to the global situation, information most people don't know anything about, including former governors (Romney and Johnson). That is why we have "National Security" positions - so that select people can provide the solutions for the information needs, analyze the information, and recommend appropriate actions. Governors are typically not briefed on international matters unless they have potential impact within the borders of the United States.

Without the support of the Western nations, including our country, these folks would still be living in the stone age - and we should have left them alone to war among themselves as they have for thousands of years. It is only our meddling that has brought them to the point where they might, and I said might, pose a real threat to our continent. Have you ever looked at the capabilities of the Iranian Military?  A military that has NEVER acted in aggression against another country in their entire history? They have an active military of 545,000 people, about same as our Navy alone.  No Contest.

Sean,

In an effort to extract an intelligent answer to a direct question out of you, I'll try this again - You never answered me when I brought it up the first time.

I sent you a video of Gary Johnson being interviewed, in which he stated he had no idea who the Muslim brotherhood was, and he also did not know who CAIR or NAIT were. ( I suspect YOU do.)

I've attached the link AGAIN, below for your reference. But, in light of his ignorance of our enemies, how can you say that you would support this man for President?

PLEASE!  (There, I've asked you very politely) Look at this short video and give me an intelligent answer regarding same.

Sean,

Actually, it was Jack Nicholson, who PLAYED Col. Nathan R. Jessup in "A few Good Men" who said that.   Hmmmm, Jessup was found Guilty as I remember it, right? Well, why sweat the small stuff?

Let me try this again. The choice in this next election is between only two likely winners - Romney and Obama, since all other potential candidates don't have a snowballs chance in Miami of winning. So, it comes down to either Obama getting more votes, or Romney getting more votes. Any vote cast for any other candidate, will NOT cause that candidate to win, and will likely provide an edge to the incumbent, Obama.  WHO DO YOU THINK CAN BEAT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION?

Call it Capitalism, or Merchantilism, I choose IT over what Obama has in store for us, so the primary objective remains the same - DEFEAT OBAMA this November. WHO DO YOU THINK CAN BEAT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION?

I'm not going to get into a dialog which blames George W. Bush for anything or everything. That's what Obama and those in HIS camp do. Just when do we start blaming Obama?

Well, we finally agree on something - You ARE a dessenter.

You said; "Defeat Obama and get another tyrant in his place???  I will have no part in that thank you."  So, WHO DO YOU THINK CAN BEAT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION that you WILL have a part of?    WHO, Sean?  Can we agree that Obama must be defeated?  Can we, at least agree on that? Or will you not answer that question? Again?

And just to be clear, IF Ron Paul was nominated AND he was the one with the best chance to beat Obama, YES, I would vote for him. But, I said I'd vote for Popeye the Sailor, if HE could beat Obama, too!  BTW - Today, Ryan actually said in a clip somewhere, "I yam what I yam!" So, I may actually wind up voting for a Popeye candidate after all!  ( That was a little humor....)

Look - I've said Ron Paul has many views that I agree with. He just CANNOT, and WILL NOT, muster enough support to win the election, and the "show-stopper" for me is his view that Iran is "a sovereign nation and it has the right to pursue nuclear power, if they so choose." Sorry Sean! I can't support that view, BUT, if it came down to Obama vs Ron Paul, I would vote Ron Paul...... or Popeye the Sailor.  Thank GOD, it won't come down to that choice.

And finally, I don't care about your facts supporting Ron Paul because I won't support him over Romney because of his Iranian position - Remember? The "Show-stopper"?

So, I ask again, WHO DO YOU THINK CAN BEAT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION?  Remember, NOT who you WANT to win, but, WHO DO YOU THINK CAN BEAT OBAMA IN THIS ELECTION?

Bojwon -

That's "B - O - J - W - O - N"  for all those who don't have all their neurons firing.  ( That was a little bit more humor....)

Complaints and dissension is all we hear from SOME people.

Who gave this divisive individual the responsibility to identify every reason NOT to vote for the one candidate that can defeat Obama.

It's a regular stream of negativity from Sean.

Has ANYONE in this thread said anything like Sean has; (It was Cheney (with his hand clean up Dubya's butt moving his mouth.) ?  There's a comment with a lot of class - All LOW Class, but a lot of it!

Everyone is "Cluless" except Sean. He's said that people, like ME, don't have all neurons firing in my brain!

Be advised - In THIS upcoming election, the choice is between Socialism and Capitalism; The America we've known or Obama's "Transformed" America; simply, it's Obama vs. Romney.

I say that Sean is a dissenter, a divisive voice inside the Republican party, AND inside this thread, fighting to weaken the support for the most likely candidate that can beat Obama.

I'm grow impatient waiting to hear something from Sean that can help us defeat Obama, rather than always hearing about what is wrong with the candidate that can defeat Obama.

Defeat Obama. THAT is the primary objective and if the points made by anyone don't contribute to THAT cause, it helps the opposition.

I'll continue to argue strongly against that divisive kind of talk.

Of course, there are some that will still write in names like Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Popeye, Clark Kent and even Sean Freeman, but that would only help Obama win because none of those names can defeat Obama!

We need to assemble everyone together, to defeat Obama. Those who take a different view and cast a vote for a ticket that cannot win, will only contribute to an Obama second term.

So, moan and groan, and call those who want to defeat Obama "Sheeple" but what I've said here, is a fact!  Any vote for any ticket other than the Romnet/Ryan ticket will be a vote that could help put Obama into a second term.

Is the GOP self-destructing?

Stop the Establishment from Rewriting the RNC Rules

As you may know the Romney camp is pushing new rules that would strip grassroots activists of any meaningful ability to participate in presidential politics. The process has always been bottom-up, but Romney officials have rewritten the rules so that the nominee can stifle any dissent on the platform committee and even unseat delegates. Make no mistake, this will weaken the process by which Republicans chose their candidate for president and push the grassroots out of the party process.
From Buzzfeed reporter Zeke Miller: "The Republican National Convention Rules Committee voted 63-38 to approve a new rule allowing granting the Republican National Committee - and Mitt Romney - sweeping new powers to amend the governing document of the GOP.

The move came at the encouragement of Mitt Romney supporters on the committee, including Romney's top lawyer Ben Ginsberg, who stressed that it would grant "flexibility" to Romney and the committee to adapt to changing political environments. The rule allows the RNC to amend the party's rules without a vote by the full Republican National Convention. And it offers the Republican Establishment a new tool to keep at b[a]y Tea Party initiatives that threaten to embarrass or contradict party leadership and stray from a planned message." (emphasis added)
Please locate the phone number of your State Republican Party Headquarters below, call them immediately, and tell them to oppose Romney's new rules that strip grassroots activists of the ability to participate in the Republican platform process:
