Please note our meeting will be held on the 2nd floor (this month only)
Please mark you calendar and try to attend this informative meeting.
Our Agenda for the September 11, 2012 meeting will include:
a) The usual pledge, mission, vision and "Code of Conduct."
b) We will hear an update from the Chapter's American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) Team. This team's mission is to make sure we are fully prepared to support passage of ALAC in the 2013 Legislative Session.
c) "Moment of Rememberance" in honor of those who died on September. 11, 2001.
d) Our Guest speaker, Dr. Wajeeh Bajwa, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Orlando, will be introduced by Mr. Sayyed Asad Bishir. The Amadiyan Muslim Community is a "sect" of Muslims whose beliefs differ from mainstream Islamic beliefs which are considered "Radical" by many Western societies. The Ahmadi Muslim considers themselves to be "reformers" of True Islam. Because of their beliefs, the Ahmadi are persecuted in countries such as Pakistan and Indonesia, and Pakistan even amended its Constitution in 1974 to say that the Ahmadi Muslim cannot call themselves "Muslim." Dr. Bajwa will
provide insight as to the Ahmadi Muslim Community, the peaceful aspects of the Ahmadi beliefs, and why Non-Ahmadi Muslims, and Americans, should not fear the Ahmadi. Dr. Bajwa will address questions, comments and concerns after the presentation.
e) We will have additional "Action Alerts" including:
1) How to support "Muslim Mafia" authors David and Chris Gaubatz, whose legal costs now top $600,000 from the lawsuit brought by the Council on American Islamic relations (CAIR).
2) Urge attendees to support the Florida Family Association (FFA) which is under repeated attacks by the Tampa Tribune and CAIR for its efforts to block CAIR from indoctrinating students. The FFA website also contains a convenient link to thank all those legislators who co-sponsored the ALAC (known in Florida as Application of Foreign Laws) legislation, (SB 1360/HB 1209).
3) Encourage attendees to sign up as ACT! Patriot Partners.
See you there! Please try to bring a friend!
