Re: [rlccef] Divisive Attitude

Ms. Japp,

I do not know you either but I hope you will take the time to think with me.  We still have a chance to make a u-turn,  I am posting my original post so that I do not take flak for being objective:

I just watched former President Bill Clinton seal the deal for a second term for President Barack Obama.  I will watch for the fact checkers tonight and tomorrow.  But sadly, we on the Republican side have no counter to former President Clinton.  He appears to have complete command and control of the facts like no other modern-day politician.  I remain hopeful though for a Gary Johnson surge so we will actually have the option to go a different direction as a country.  The Romney/Ryan plan presents a bumpy road to communism via socialism.  Former President Clinton has paved that road in gold tonight.  Only former Republican Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson's platform is a u-turn to free-market capitalism.  At this point, we Republicans can only hope most of the country has been watching the Giants-Cowboys game.  In the end, it is still most likely "game over" for Romney/Ryan.

Comments like the one by Frank Z. are not needed at this time. I don't know him well, but I remember when I first came to the RLCCEF meetings and he was telling us all about Rubio and we were all in a positive mood for our battle that we took on and won in 2010 by changing many of the old guard.  I don't know what has happened but this negativism that is coming from this group is the reason I have decided not to attend this meetup or the Constitutional Dinner.  I have sensed a real bitterness from many of the people, who I guess are more the libertarian leaning group and I just don't need this in my life.  We have to be positive and hopeful with Romney/Ryan and the new RNC platform, which is more conservative than we have had in years.

When I went to Connie's last week to train for the APF's phone banking, it was not a pleasant experience.  I had gone to the AFP's meeting a few weeks' ago and didn't find this at all.  I am not calling out any people, because you know who you are, but whoever thinks Bill Clinton has won this battle needs to go listen to Mark Levin's show from today and think again.  You know, guys, this is NOT the time for this kind of divisiveness.  Get past the recent local elections and get on fighting for our country and get behind our new Conservative platform.  I have seriously stopped bringing new people to some of the meetings because of these attitudes.  Get over yourself--we have much work to do.
