RE: [rlccef] RE: StopSeven50: Souped up planning and sustainability

It’s been here for decades.  This is just the finishing touch.  People have become accustomed to dictating to others how their property may be used.

These things have been going on for 50 years.  Control is why we have zoning and comprehensive plans.  Martin County has been a ‘leader’ in regulating property owners into oblivion, but all government do it.  Things may be stepped up a bit, but there is nothing really new.  Property rights have been slow boiled for decades.

We MUST familiarize ourselves with this violation of property rights! It may already be in Brevard County disguised under a different name. We need to form a committee to look into this. Who's willing to help?

Oct. 15th and Nov. 7th

These dates are critical events in the American Coalition 4 Property Right's (AC4PR's) efforts to Stop Seven50's regionalism intrusion into St Lucie County.

October 15, 2013
Members of AC4PR have been speaking in the 5-minute Public Comment section, for nearly 3 months now at St Lucie County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meetings.  At the last BOCC meeting, we asked for, and the Commissioners granted us, permission to give the Commissioners a full length presentation, in return for not tying up their Public Comment section for hours on end - which is what we have been doing to date.  The opportunity here is for us to be able to present one full-length unified presentation directly to the Commissioners.  This is a win for us and we want to take advantage of the opportunity afforded AC4PR.  We can revert back to individual Public Comment at all other subsequent BOCC meetings.

So we are asking all AC4PR supporters to attend this meeting in a massive show of citizen support.  We need to make it very clear to the Commissioners that the people of St Lucie County are opposed to the Seven50 regional plan.  At some point in the presentation, we will ask those in the audience to stand and thus show substantial opposition to the Plan.  But we also want to respect our agreement to refrain from Public Comment in return for the Commission allowing us to make the full presentation.

So please mark your calendar:
          9 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2013
St Lucie County Commission chambers, 3rd floor
          (See Location Directions below)

November 7, 2013
This is crunch time.  This is the BOCC meeting where everything comes to a head in St Lucie County.  This is a Special Meeting of the BOCC, with only one agenda item: Seven50. The Seven50 staff will present the unveiling of the Seven50 Plan to the St. Lucie County Commissioners. The Commissioners are also allowing AC4PR to make a formal presentation rebutting the Seven50 Plan.  Obviously, AC4PR will be making its request for the BOCC to formally withdraw from the Seven50 Memorandum of Understanding, at this time.

If you can only attend one meeting to Oppose Seven50, THIS is the meeting you must attend.   And bring all your friends.
So please mark your calendar:
          6 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2013
St Lucie County Commission chambers, 3rd floor
          (see Location Directions below)

Location Directions:
          County Administration Complex
          2300 Virginia Avenue
          Ft. Pierce, FL
At the intersection of Virginia Ave. and 23rd St, drive North on 23rd St. 1/2 block.  Park either in the parking lot on the left, or in the park area on the right.  Entrance door is at the northeast corner of the building complex.

Join us to put an end to this regionalism madness!

"One of the most fantastic phenomena of modern times has been the unbelievable success of the Communist conspiracy to enslave mankind. Part of this has been the result of two species of ignorance---ignorance concerning the constitutional requirements needed to perpetuate freedom, and secondly, ignorance concerning the history, philosophy and strategy of World Communism."
