Mark will share his perspectives on the Zimmerman trial, stand your ground, self defense, the state's prosecution and many other issues attendant to the trial. There will be a brief Q&A session following his remarks. We will then convene our panel for a discussion on gun rights and gun control issues.
In addition to O'Mara, the panel will include Sheriff Wayne Ivey, Florida Today Editor Matt Reed, and Florida Tenth Amendment Center Outreach Director Francisco Rodriguez. Each panelist will take five minutes to share their perspectives on the issues and will then answer questions from the audience. The panel discussion will be moderated by Radio Host Bill Mick from WMMB. The Second Amendment Preservation Act and potential changes to Florida's Stand Your Ground law will be topics for discussion along with various other issues.
In addition to our featured speaker and panelists, several candidates
for county commission and other races will have information
tables set up and will be there to meet you and answer your questions. Please help us turn out a large crowd for this event by inviting your friends and neighbors. This is not a dinner meeting but there will be a cash bar available. We look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
