Hack Manhattan is hosting a robotics workshop next week for educators and hackers: http://hmrobotis-efbevent.eventbrite.com/

If it “sells” out and you know a STEM teacher who would like to attend, put them in touch with me and I can arrange for them to have one of the reserved tickets.

Although Guan was not the organizer for this event, he filled in at the last second and hosted the meetup. He did a masterful job and really pumped me up to build a reprap 3D printer. Look forward to more meetings and hopefully Guan will consider being an assistant organizer or event host in the future.

What are your requirements for a location? I’m a member of Hack Manhattan, a hackerspace near Union Square, and we’d be happy to host the meetup if the scheduling works out. We can probably fit 15-20 people around tables talking, fewer if they all need to be working on stuff.

Guan, that would be awesome, unless someone has a much better space, I vote for Hackerspace. Guan, why not put that as the location as well as list the address.

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night! I'll try to be there a little early, from around 6pm.

Im new to Arduino, so I was looking for a meetup group that I could learn more from. Is there a date for the next meetup?

Well, we have a date settled for the meetup, I will bring in my Arduino Kit, which I never used or played around with. So I am in the same boat as you.

You'll like Hack Manhattan then, we have a Radio Shack just around the corner, a pretty big collection of various electronics components, and knowledgeable members.

I'd be happy to talk about my project to build a line-following arduino based 'bot (working with Guan on this)
