Please tell us how you found the group and a little bit about yourself and any projects you may be working on or considering.

My goal is to build a humanoid robot this year based on the open source InMoov Project (http://inmoov.blogspot.com/). I am also very interested in computer vision, specifically location mapping and object recognition generated from a Xtion (Kinect clone)

I'm excited about joining the Robot Group, I'm a software guy just getting into robotics for the first time!
