Please tell us how you found the group and a little bit about yourself and any projects you may be working on or considering.

I've recently come across the world of Arduino, and have really been enjoying tinkering with it and trying to improve my mechanical, electronic, and programming skills. While online forums are great, I've been looking for a more personal outlet for sharing my enthusiasm for this newfound hobby. A bit of googling brought me to the Austin Robot Group's web page, saw the MeetUp info, and immediately logged in. I'm currently working on a cubicle alarm/alert setup, and want to get into arduino-based UAVs.

I'm Warren. I'm a bit of a geek who has better mechanical skills than programming or computing skills, but I love to tinker and create and explore technology.
