Yes, several using Lego Mindstorms including a speedy line-follower, a table-crawler with edge detection, and the winning tube-pusher at Robogames 2011. I'm now using Tetrix parts to build aluminum robots using the Mindstorms computer and sensors, including the winning two-wheeled robot at Robogames 2012 (but disqualified for being too good - ask me about the story!).
Mostly prefer using standard parts that bolt together, but will machine specialized parts if needed.
I've been building small autonomous robots since 2010. Starting to build bigger ones now!
I think it's great, but that doesn't count since I'm a founder! ;-)
