The SuperBowl is approaching faster than a speeding pigskin! It's time to kick our chili game into high gear so we can secure our places on future football party guest lists.
What is your chili preference? Everyone has a different idea: pork, beef, beans, no beans, ground meat, hunks of beef, chocolate (YES!!!!! chocolate) . . . Topping are another story altogether!
In the interest of variety, we will be making white chicken and poblano chili, sausage and black bean chili, and a third variety which will likely be either vegetarian or Texas style. But, things have been known to change. I also welcome your suggestions. On the side we will have cornbread and a "topping bar".
Chili wouldn't be complete without BEER. So, we shall try several, and possibly a cider or two (my favorite).
Please bring a beverage to share; perhaps a favorite beer to add to our tasting or a bottle of wine.
The price includes, chili and fixin's, beer tastings, and all the fun you can handle. I sure hope you can make it!!
