I would say somewhere in the middle. I know a lot about certain foods, and would like to learn more about others.
Indian, Thai, and Mexican. Pretty much anything spicy and made from scratch.
I am half Italian, so I remember making sauce on Sundays. I remember my Grandmother getting out the huge sauce pot, and the whole day was spent preparing the Sunday family meal.
