SCOPE is organizing a lobby/rally day along with other organizations, to stand up for our Second Amendment rights. We will be holding our rally in the Well of the Legislative Office Building.
Several pro-Second Amendment politicians are coordinating this effort with us, including Assemblyman Bill Nojay, who has been a long time supporter of SCOPE. We will have free run of the State Capitol building. This is our day to be heard.
SCOPE is providing bus transportation for Monroe County. The bus leaves from Marketplace Mall in Henrietta at 5am. People should arrive at 4:45am to start boarding.
There will be NO CHARGE for transportation. We will be asking for voluntary donations of $20 to defray the cost, but don't let that stop you.
We need you to RSVP so that we know you're coming. If necessary, we will charter a second bus.
Please make appointments with your State Senator and Assemblyperson, and talk to them in person. You can find out who your elected representatives are here:

SCOPE has been doing this in conjunction with the NYSRPA and other 2A groups for years. This is your best chance to make an impact. We will go over the lobbying process and answer any questions at the next meeting of Monroe County SCOPE on February 18.
