okay, just let me know when you wanna go and i'll post it on the meetup site. i don't think we'll have a problem with the top-rope anchors. we'll just pick climbs that we can hike to the top and set anchors. there should be plenty along the highway. keep me posted.

Stefan,

I do have some (2) screws.  One is a 22cm so you can do a few v threads with it and have a great top rope anchor.  I would like to get out there.  I don't quite have a date in mind right now.  My daughter is in a ski camp at Alyeska the next 2 days, and then I am working some of the New Years weekend.  I have some off days after that though.  But again, I don't have a set date in mind.  I will think on it.

I think if you (or somebody else with good rope management skills) were there and could help set up or at least double check my TR anchor I would be comfortable.  Leading and following are a different story, almost no experience there for me.

Jason,
While I don't have a lot of experience ice-climbing, I do feel relatively confident to set up a climb. Do you have ice-screws to set anchors with? Would you like me to post an outing for you in the hopes that there will be more folks with experience coming along?? You could put that as a requirement in the description of the event.

Let me know.

Stefan

I'd love to go.  I don't have alot of experience so wouldn't feel comfortable leading a trip.  I have the equipment and the desire.  If anyone needs a partner, and feel comfortable, let me know.

AMH does have some tools to rent.

Hi all,

Is anybody interested in doing some ice-climbing? If anybody would like to go and has tools that they're willing to share and knowledge of where to go, I'd be thrilled to post it on the site to get some folks together for some ice-climbs. Boots and crampons can be rented at AMH, but I don't think they rent out ice-tools.

Anybody wanna go?

Stefan
