Come meet with other locals interested in economic, public safety, human development, and quality of life issues on the Rockaways peninsula (Far Rockaway, Edgemere, Arverne, Rockaway Park, Nesponsit, Broad Channel, and Rockaway Beach).
We are a confederation of various local organizations, so you are also encourage to join your neighborhood civic association (e.g. Arverne Civic Association, 100th Precinct Community Council, etc.)
This Meetup group is open to all residents of the Rockaway peninsula.

Come join us at our next Council meeting on November 18 2009 at the Knights of Columbus Hall 333 Beach 90th. Street. Come in and voice your concerns. This month we will have a guest speaker from the N.Y.P.D. (O.E.M.) Office Of Emergency Management. Coffee & Cake will be served for all.
