Hi Shravan...yes it is INR7000. the place is 270 kms away from Bangalore and we are doing a 2N stay and 3D travel.
Also, Since Kemmangundi is so unexplored, the places to stay are limited and hence costing becomes tricky!
this amount takes care of all your expenses...food, travel, stay, trek and entertainment!

I did visit Kemmanagundi last year. The z-point and Hebbe falls were awesome. We did offroading in a jeep to Hebbe falls until a point from where we had to trek for 2 km to reach the falls. So, this 8 km trek to Hebbe falls is through the jeep route?

The problem with hills is—hill stations!! They bulge with people—mostly tourists and not travellers — who end up making them what they want to see and not what they are. Kemmangundi is one of the best kept secrets of Karnataka. Situated serenely amongst lush green coffee plantation and scenic mountain range, this little town promises relaxation and rejuvenation. For the explorers, there are beautiful trek routes, majestic waterfalls and some of the most magnificent sunsets.

And of course, a chance to meet travellers as crazy as you are! Aren’t new stories the best take away from a travel?

Hey. How strenuous is the trek? Could you provide more details?

    December 19, 2012

    • Akanksha

the trek is moderate but long...to reach Hebbe falls, its a downhill road so it may be tricky but not strenuous. Climbing back will need stamina...though we arent running on schedule and can afford as many breaks you may require!!
