Climbing and/or rescue practice at Carderock (one more time)

Saturday's meetup was such a success that we're doing it again on Sunday.

This event is suitable for newbies, but be warned that you'll do much more standing around watching than climbing. I'm keeping the group size small because I don't know what other experienced climbers can go and how much gear we'll have. If you're experienced at setting up top-rope system outdoors, demo-ing basic rescue techniques (escaping the belay, pulley systems, ascending a rope), and/or have gear (especially ropes), please mention that in a comment and I may increase the group size.

What to bring: harness (required), helmet (required, but a bike or ski helmet is fine), climbing shoes (optional), hiking shoes/boots (I don't want people walking around barefoot or in flip-flops), some food & water, warm clothing, any additional climbing gear you've got (ropes, slings, carabiners, belay devices, etc.).

I will send out an email to everyone signed up with my cell phone # and any last-minute updates.

Where to Meet: We'll meet in the climber's parking lot (GPS coordinates[masked], [masked]) at 10am. We'll wait there until 10:15am and then we'll head to the crags. I'll have a big red & white Meetup sign w/ me in the parking lot, but I may or may not bring it w/ me to the crags. Look for me wearing my Meetup hat or ask people.

Walking Directions from Climber's Parking Lot to Crags: Take the obvious path that runs from the parking lot past the bathhouse. When you see the informational sign, follow the path to the right, which leads down and around the crags. When you get to the river, follow the base of the crags East (back in the direction you came from).

Post here if there's something you want to learn, teach or practice. I want to practice:
    - Belay escapes
    - Belaying off the anchor w/ my new ATC guide
    - Rappelling with a carabiner break
