Climb stuff at VW Seattle

With climbing season almost upon us, it's time to drop those hole riddled shoes off for repair and of course, rather than just pop in and leave we're going to stay and climb.
http://seattle.verticalworld.com/

If you are interested in climbing, introducing yourself before the outdoor seasons begins, saying 'hi' or just hanging out then feel free to come join us.

Finding us: Look for the purple camouflage trousers. That'll be me.

Shoe Repair Whether the winter gym season chewed up your shoes or that first hole has just appeared, they go out to John Ramuta in Montana. It takes about four weeks to get the shoes back and costs $33 or $44 depending on if you need a patch or rand repair.

Got in some great leads, met a bunch of new people and even got some 11c-ness under my climbing belt. A most splendid time. Thanks to all for coming. Now to head outdoors!

I've never gone to vertical world, can I belay/lead if I show them my stone gardens tag?

    April 12, 2014

    • Joann R.

You will have to sign a waiver and take a belay test and a lead climbing test.

Hi, I'm new to the meetup group and just visiting my family in Seattle for the next 10 days. I'd like to climb out doors anytime while I'm here if you'd like to join me. I climb moderate sport and top rope and easy trad. I have rope and draws and all other gear. The weather looks good this weekend, so if anyone would like to go to exit 38 on Sat or Sun (12th or 13th) please email [masked], or call or sms[masked]-3952. If you're free to meet at the Marymoor wall for practice that's fine too. I'm flexible.
