Occasionally at Movement in Boulder
I have a full set of basic gear for myself, including a helmet. I have a rope, webbing, 'biners, and quickdraws. I am starting to accumulate more advanced protection as my budget allows.
I can make it up 5.8 and some 5.9 routes (outside) I will climb indoors for a good workout but prefer climbing outside. I can set up a top rope and I have the skills to rig up other types of protection. I am FAR from an expert and am ready to learn.
Started in 2004 but have had several long breaks during the last decade.

I am 40ish and have been a lifelong fan of the great outdoors. I have had formal climbing instruction from the Colorado Mountain School and also from Front Range Community college. I want to make new friends and have a good SAFE time climbing rocks.
Everybody seemed very nice. I am looking forward to the next meet-up.
