A Note From The New Organizer

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great summer and spent a lot of time climbing. I was sad to hear that Stan decided to step down as the organizer of this group, as an assistant organizer for the past year I have decided to take over.

Summer has been very busy and the group has been fairly inactive for the past few months. This is about to change!!! Thanks to those of you who have already expressed an interest in becoming assistant organizers, I am looking forward to all of your help. My goal is to have at least one meet up per week at a gym in the area and hopefully get outside occasionally on those nice winter days. I live up north so I will be focusing on BRC, The Spot, Movement, and R&J1. If there is anyone who has not already expressed an interest in helping out and can commit to 1 to 2 meet ups per month (especially at the gyms I did not mention) please send me a note.

In addition to climbing meet-ups I also hope to occasionally get together for more social activities such as seminars at REI or guest speakers at Neptune Mountaineering. If you know of an event or have an idea that you think the group would be interested in please let me know about it and I will post it as an actual event or a note on the calendar. I really want this to be a site for everyone to participate in. Don?t forget, if you want to climb and nothing is scheduled you can start a discussion to find climbing partners.

Finally, I think the group needs a new name and I am looking for ideas. Be creative, what would a cool name be that represents climbers in Colorado? Send me your ideas?..Please!!!

As always, if you have any questions don?t hesitate to send me an email.

See you all soon.
