Third Sunday Fly . Stapleton

Third Sunday. Stapleton is our default location. Unless we decide to move to a different spot or we have another kite festival to attend. (April 20th we have one in New Mexico, and one in Kansas, anyone not going can still go to Stapleton)

Awesome. Great winds. Great time. Great company. Great turn-out. No one got hurt! John broke a line set.

Hey everyone. It was great to see you all and fly. What a crazy day, eh? Thanks to Howie for letting me (try to) fly your Rev. Thanks to Paul for the same, and also the buggy (and the 710 -- impressive!). Very special thanks to James for saving my Hornet from the murky depths! Also, thanks to everyone who helped save Nick's kite from that nasty tree. That could've turned ugly but it didn't thanks to you guys. As always, thanks to John for all the help, fun and letting me drive your tank :). It was great to meet Ted and Armando finally. Thanks, everyone, for a killer Sunday. I had a great time!

Yup. I've invited people but their default response is flakey :)

I won't be here anyway. Business trip to Boston for 2 weeks. Bummer!

There's Kiters near Boston! Look up Greg Lamoreaux and his kite shop on the beach in Hull, MA. Nicole knows him and the clubs around there.

Good idea James! We should have a couple of "Pre-Festival Promo Flys" there before April 13th. Arvada was the original "Second Sunday" location before Ted and I moved it to Sandstone when no one else was showing up.

We should think about changing this to Arvada!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
