Our eleventh year, this is the only large kids kite festival in the Denver Metro area.

With up to 10,000 people expected to join us at this small park, we highly recommend showing up as early in the morning as you possibly can, otherwise you may have to park far away and ride a shuttle bus from one of the schools or other parking locations. Parking is also available in the neighborhood, that will also fill up and require a hike.

As usual there will be lots of vendors and kids kite flying. We will cordon off the field and keep the kids and spectators out from under the larger kites and our other kiting area as much as possible.

Hello Robin and thanks for the warm welcome..When and where do most of the kite buggying stuff take place? I've been kiting for some time now and for the first time I'm thinking of giving the buggy thing a try. We have a LARGE manicured field in Centennial that we use at times but I haven't seen any buggy's there. I would love to come out and see it in action and talk to the folks doing it to get some buggy type info..
