First Annual Japanese Kite Festival 

Japanese kitemaker Mikio Toki is visiting Denver and doing a kite building workshop Tuesday. The open free fly is on Wednesday

Scott Skinner, our neighbor from Monument and founder of the Drachen Foundation, will also be joining us. will post more soon. The entire park will be reserved for the event, which will be centered in the Pavilion area (not the Beeler St. area which we normally fly at, though some of you may choose to fly there for more space, buggies, etc.)

FREE to attend, (Tuesday there is a $5 fee for the kite building workshop)

"Denver area kite flyers! It's ON! Tuesday, August 5th, and Wednesday August 6th, Kite flying at Central Park Stapleton with Mikio Toki. Toki-san will be giving workshops on Tuesday and there will be free flying on Wednesday.
