Clement Park Monthly Meetup Fly

All are invited to attend our Monthly Fly for the Denver area. EVERY FOURTH SUNDAY of every month. We will attempt to meet regardless of weather conditions We are actually more concerned about a breeze blowing than the rest of the weather. We may decide to meet at a nearby restaurant or coffee place if it's too Horrible to fly. If there's No wind, we have SUL's (super ultra light) kites, and kites designed to fly indoors

We have 3 flys or more each month. 1st. Sunday. Stapleton, which is the East side of Denver, 2nd. Sunday at Sandstone in Longmont, and this Fly, 4th. Sunday EVERY month, on the southwest side of  metropolitan Denver. Kiters everywhere are encouraged to fly at all locations, but we have the option of several Kite Meetups for those of us with a Retail work schedule.

The advantage of 3 flying locations is that anyone interested in Kite flying can find us consistently at that specific location on the same day every month. AKA,, and neighborhood newspapers can post it for all to find. Kiters traveling thru Colorado or truck driver Kiters (like Canada's Paul Loranger) can stop by if they happen to be in town.

We normally fly on the field adjacent to the Columbine Memorial, but may on occasion use the field near the west park entrance. We leave that area open for Land Kiteboarders when there are no sports, depending on conditions and park usage

Joe, the Third Sunday is open for a monthly Fly somewhere. Now that John Farrell is back in town, it's a possibility he would go there too.
What You need to do is help us set it up. If you show up there EVERY 3rd Sunday regardless of weather, we can all start coming up that way! Also, Please get a sports schedule from them, we need to not be where a team is scheduled to play a game!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
