In regards to traditional Kite Flying and Stunt kites,I have been in the Kiting community( AKA) all my life. I am with the Foothills Kite Club here, also was involved with the San Diego Kite Club for many years in the Late 1970's, early 1980's.
Stapleton, but everywhere in general
Please respond with YOUR Favorite spots to Kite. Dillon Lake seems to be a spot of choice thus far, also Lake McConaughy in Nebraska
Call [masked] to confirm that I'll be there. Please post any suggestions you have regarding where we can Meet, and do some Kiteboarding, and/or any form of Kite flying. Or email me, [masked] Visit my website www.boulderjunk.com
Kites ARE my Main Hobby and Center of my life! I get stoked over all kiting of any sort. The thrill in seeing this group grow, especially when we find and bring other "veteran Kiters" back into Kiting, and into our club and our growing Colorado kite scene. We are also bringng fans of related activities (i.e, Aviation, and Walking) into kite flying. Now we are successfully including Landboards and buggies into kite festivals with all of our other types of kite flying. All of you Kiteboarders and aspiring -to- be Kiteboarders should come hang out with us! Flying a Trainer kite, or even a regular 1 or 2 lined kite, builds the arms up, keeps you in shape for Kiteboarding trips to Mac and abroad....
