Superhero Tabletop First Session

The first session will be a meet and greet over food and drink.

I'll give a full introduction to the setting, followed by a Q&A session. Then, we'll talk about some character ideas. After departing, character sheet details will be hammered out over email and we'll be ready for the opening game two weeks from there (1/28).

The game will end up being every other Monday at my place. Let me know if Monday nights are good for you, and if Airport and Lamar is a convenient location. If not, offer some alternatives.

There is no RSVP maximum. I've successfully run games for 12 people, and I'm betting not everyone will be able to show up to every session.

There will be a foot-tall stack of books on the table, the top one will have an American Flag motif. Also, I look like a pirate.

Its at 7pm, so you'd have to go just as we started to get going. My apologies sir.

Cool, nice game concept. I particularly like how Max described his GMing style.

I think that was the nature of the first meeting. I think it sounds really great - can't wait to get all my character thoughts down!

So what system are you going to be using?

      1 Style over Substance
      2 Attitude is Everything
3 Always take it to the Edge

That is the spirit of the game. Combine that style and high drama with a well thought-out plan (or contingencies) and you'll find success in most situations.
