Besides Marvel and Star Wars, some cool ideas: a modern fantasy game inspired by "Big Trouble in Little China," playing in the world of Conan the Barbarian, an Asian-style fantasy campaign, or something set in historical Greece or Rome, or maybe a Space Opera. Just some thoughts.
Looking specifically to play Marvel Heroic Roleplaying or Star Wars Saga Edition. But open to other systems or campaigns. Mechanics are less important to me than the campaign setting and the people involved.
Right now my reading tends to be Marvel comics and Star Wars Expanded Universe stuff. But prefer to read speculative fiction and some nonfiction (mainly popular science or history of ideas).
Science fiction, history or science shows. Shows that I've gravitated to or talked about lately: Dexter, Dollhouse, Jekyll and Leverage.
Team player more than anything. Tend to be shy as a player initially, until I get to know everyone. But then I tend to be much more outgoing and engaged.

Nice to meet you Bill! I should be scheduling a comic book brunch either in December or January :)
