CinemaFest: Rome Film Festival
The annual festival,  takes place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, using all of halls in the complex for screenings and press conferences, as well as huge tents set up on the grounds, a cinema  "village", with shops, restaurants and services, and, of course, a red carpet. Additional screenings are held at the MAXXI museum and at the Cinema Barberini  in Piazza Baberini. This year's festival, November 9 - 17, has a new director, Marco Mueller,  and a new focus. This year, many more of the films are Italian productions, there's much less Hollywood glamor, and more attention has been paid to smaller independent productions, experimental films and shorts. That said, there still plenty of interesting screenings, including 59 World Premieres. Ticket prices for premiere screenings can be costly, up to €30, other screenings €18-5. The following films were shot in English.
