FPL states that it is requesting a base rate increase to cover increasing operating costs. FPL states that a 1,000 kwh monthly bill for residential customers is $94.62. (As of January 2012)
Using FPL's proposal, a 1,000 kwh monthly bill for residential customers is estimated to be $95.19 in January 2013. Effective June 2013, a 1,000 kwh monthly bill for residential customers is estimated to be $96.03.
