New Hampshire primary watch

We will meet at Dunn Brothers on Main Street in Racine, Tuesday, January 8th, to watch the New Hampshire returns come in. We will start at 7:30 PM and they close at 10:00 PM. Ron Paul sits at 14% according to the Rasmussen Tracking Poll. (Copy this and paste it on your web browser address box to see the poll report.) http://www.rasmussenr... But that does not include the independent vote and RP is expected to get a large share of that. RP doubled what the pollsters said he would get in Iowa. Shall we go for 28% in NH? Wouldn't that be cool. But on to things that we can control. On the agenda for the evening will be three items: 1. Time for the January 12 sign wave. Should be start at 10:00 AM? 2. Some ideas for the Burma Shave-style sign campaign. 3. Coordination with some Illinois groups. Bring your notes and your ideas.

I can't say we were thrilled with the outcome of the New Hampshire primary, but we got some great progress on the "Burma Shave" style Ron Paul signs, passing out literature is being planned and a video seminar on the constitution went to the next phase. So overall it was a great meetup.

Once again Dunn Brothers treated us with much courtesy and kindness, this week providing several cups of free chile and soup! It seemed that quite a bit of brainstorming was going on as concerns sign wave tactics. I thought it was a very nice and productive meeting.

Will make an effort to drop in for a bit. Looks like Ron is going o take third, and could be closer to 20% of the vote!Want to learn more about doing the "Burma Shave" type signs, and where we plan to do them. Also, train folks on how to lit drop.

I don't want to overstate this Burma Shave idea, but it could be a real breakthrough on getting people to think about RP's issues.
