George:

I can’t make this one due to CFL. Joe mentioned that you were planning on a second. Is this correct?

Also, will you be reviewing the Right to Petition at all in this seminar?

Subject: [ronpaul-434] Constitutional Seminar

Here is some more information about the Constitutional Seminar this Saturday:

This is not a beginning constitutional class. This is more of a "post graduate" seminar. We will be dealing with constitutional provisions that are not immediately obvious.

For preparation you should know something about these three areas:

Separation of Powers. Federalist #47, at least the first three paragraphs.

Checks and Balances. This was discussed in Federalist #48. The paragraph starting "The first example is that of Virginia..." —you can find it about half way down the document — is a good place to read about the importance of Checks and Balances.

Separate but Equal as applied to the branches of government—not education.

If you will be familiar with these principles and how they work, it would be beneficial to the progress of the seminar.

Remember, the rules of the seminar is that I only ask questions.

See you there!
