Thanks...if i knew, i would have posted a link on it. I'm sure it involves getting a ton of signatures.

People on this list...as leaders, lead your block, your neighborhood, lead your town, organize your town to get to local Republican meetings. If you need email addresses and other demographic data, I'm sure between myself and some others on this list we have plenty.

I just emailed 8 people in my town to invite them to my town's Republican Club meeting next Thursday.

by 2016, Ron Paul / Liberty minded folks should have a majority of county committee and local seats all over the country. there is no excuse not to. I ran for county commitee and lost. in 2 years i will win and i will find other ron paul people from my town to run in the other wards. we have school boards, freeholders, town councilmen all to be elected in the coming 2 years. get into your towns republican clubs. meet with county people. get involved.

your liberties are being stolen from your local towns as well as the folks in DC. everyone wants to clean up someone else's yard. maybe we should clean up our own here in New Jersey

Why cant we do this (link above) in New Jersey?!?!?!

Folks, if your hearts are set on winning the GOP nomination or phantom third party runs they will probably be broken.  We have the numbers to make the Establishment squirm, but not to beat them nationally.  Not yet.  We need to continue to fight, to spread the message, but we also need to set realistic goals or we will suffer continuous disappointments and become apathetic...and then we lose.  Apathy never solved anything, as we've learned over the last few decades.

When I first came to learn of Ron Paul in 2007, I quickly became very passionate about the 2008 election and had many starry eyed dreams of winning the nomination.  And you know what...many of the folks I encountered who had been following Ron since 1988 pointed to the larger picture...the message and the future, not the short term gratification of the election...which is what I am trying to do now.

RUNNING for President is a very effective way to spread the ideas whose time have come.  But you know what?  WINNING the Presidency right now is the fastest way to kill our movement.

Constitutionally the Presidency isn't supposed to be as important as it is...so why do we think that winning the Presidency will solve everything?  If Ron Paul wins the 2012 nomination...and I do think it's a slim possibility, just not a probability...the entire party apparatus will be against him.   Against us.  His 4 years would be a failure, and our movement would suffer.  Our enemies, both left and right, would find common cause to completely discredit every proposal, every budget, every decision.  Without the support of national party apparatus we would be decimated and embarrassed.  We would not get a second term or chance.  And then tyranny will have no opposition.

We need to take over the party first.  We need to take Congress.  We need to take local and State elections.  We need to take party appointments.  We need to get involved.  We need to become the Establishment so that when our candidate does win the Presidency that person can enjoy the support of a fully functional party apparatus.  It is unfortunate, but our world revolves around the 2-party duopoly.  It isn't going anywhere, the system is stacked in it's favor, and there are no third parties prepared to take the step up.  These are simple facts that we have to work with.

The GOP is not going anywhere...but it is ripe for the taking.  Our little revolution has had more of an effect on Presidential politics, politics in general, in the last 4 years than the Libertarian Party has had in 40.  We are very quickly taking over the Grand Old Party from the local level on up.   And we will have a huge presence at the Convention.  Today we are a force to be reckoned with and courted, whereas 4 years ago we were discarded and barred from the RNC all together.  The GOP required Ron Paul himself to have an escort on the Convention Floor.  I was in Minneapolis; I went to the Rally for the Republic; I heard the stories of people who came from the RNC and were not allowed to return.

In 2016 Rand Paul...assuming his Senate votes remain in line with our ideology...will have our support as the presumptive nominee of the GOP, and by then the GOP will be us.  We will have won...by being patient and realistic.

If, over the next 4 years Rand moves away from us, then another candidate will emerge.  I personally understand what Rand did from a political perspective, but I'm not happy with it.  And if he morphs into some neo-con POS as time goes on then we still have our principles and the power within the party that we will have attained.  And we will still run the party if we stay on the course we are on right now.   Rand Paul needs us more than we need him.

Ron Paul is a messenger who showed us long forgotten truths.  They remain true with or without the Paul family.  This is not a cult of personality...this is a Revolution.  We are the Revolution.

Now is not the time for turning on each other or becoming despondent.  Victory is in our grasp within a relatively short time frame if we stay the course; perhaps just not as short as we would like.

Rand compromised on core issues. It’s unlikely he will ever recover the credibility that he lost with that move. And more importantly he’s waving a flag of surrender before the convention even happened.
If it wasn’t for Ron Paul bringing people into the GOP, there wouldn’t have been enough people left to even consider the GOP a viable national party. It is still on the verge of collapse. And quite frankly good riddance to it. We’ve all seen first hand in this election bid, just how much bullying, corruption, cronyism, voter rigging and outright fraud truly exists within the party. Rand didn’t need to play ball with anyone. We were winning because there are more of us than them. We are winning because we are right. We are winning because “you can not stop an idea whose time has come!”All Rand did with Hannity is prove that he is as pushable as Obama and is at his heart a neocon with an amazing father whose shoes he can’t fill.
Regardless, this is bigger than the Paul’s. It doesn’t matter whether Rand is a sellout coward who doesn’t understand the philosophy. We just need to focus on giving Ron the nomination and hope that if he doesn’t get it, that he will run third party. If he doesn’t run third party then we need to find another candidate.

It’s that simple,
Sky Sims

Ron Paul has conceded that he will not have the delegate numbers to defeat Romney.  However, he still plans to use those delegates, and the movement, to change the GOP.

Rand Paul has said all along that he would support the GOP nominee.  This is not news.  He is in a position where he has no choice...in order to maintain a foothold in the door he will necessarily have to compromise sometimes, that is politics.  So long as his votes do not change it matters not whom he endorses.

EVERYONE needs to get it through their heads that winning the Presidency was NEVER the primary goal.  Never.  It was always a long shot, and it was always a means to an end...the infiltration of the party.

When Ron Paul said "I'm not like I'm just trying to win and get elected, I'm trying to change the course of history."  He was not lying.  And he...through us...is changing the course of history.

Ron Paul is not the Revolution.  We are the Revolution.  Rand Paul is our ally in the Senate who can help the Establishment get over their fears of us.   But he has to play politics more than we do.

Go out there and BE THE REVOLUTION!

what is going on. Now Rand Paul endorsed Romney..

I guess my vote will go toward the Libertarian as this is nuts. I feel betrayed. Drove to Philly for what.. stood in the rain for what?  Both parties are totally out of touch with reality.
