And keep email option for news about events, meetups, etc.

Freedom of speech and free expression are great.  I'm all for that. forum might be more appropriate venue than email.

a second?

I suggest we move this discussion to the message board...I have done so on the San Diego site.

But I would like to point out that I did not write the below.  It was simply copy/pasted from the AFTF email that someone posted on www.ronpaulforums.com .  Certainly, we would all agree that private property should not be violated.

I'm not sure you're getting it either Mike.  The regulation of the
county regarding signs can and should be challenged anyways, so getting
hassled for an election sign on July 4 would be worth the exposure.
The only one mentioned that had to deal with private property was store
fronts, and if you asked the store ahead of time, that's not an issue.
The point you seem to have missed was to get as many signs as possible
out there.  If you want to put them only in certain places, then you do
that.

I am sorry you don't get it Vince.  this is what you said to
do.
"Get started making and staging your "Ron Paul for President 2008"signs
in the early evening of July 3rd 2007. Then in the wee hoursof July 4th
hit
the streets in your city or town plastering the signseverywhere you
can!Overpasses, street corners, along highways, in store fronts, in
frontof media outlets newspapers, television networks, anywhere and
everywhere!"

Mike:  Several of these violate private property the others violate
local, county and federal laws.  The county of San Diego has regulation
regarding campaign signs, when and where they can be posted.  In no
case
can they be posted sixty days before an election.

My plan is that people always will be with the signs until the official
posting date then they can post in the proper places, freeway blogging
will
hapen with people holding the banners not left attached to the bridges.

The signs go home with the holders.

If you get the permission of the property owner to post on his property
that is another story.  Vincent I am sorry I know you mean well but
your
approach is reckless.

Mike
