NBC NEWS REQUESTS: RON PAUL SUPPORTERS IN CHICAGO!

If you had one chance to show the world the great importance of the Ron Paul campaign and the power of the peace and freedom message would you accept it?

I received a news request from NBC NIGHTLY NEWS to cover our Walk for Ron Paul tomorrow at Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois at 11 AM central time. They found me as the Organizer for the Chicago Ron Paul meetup.com group, and wanted to get the word out to the public

Can we get 1,000+ supporters there to show the world how much we care about Ron Paul. If you care about Peace and Freedom you already know that Ron Paul is our last best hope for our country. Treat this opportunity as our last chance to get Ron Paul elected! Blow the socks of Chicago and the whole United States. This type of grassroots activism is 100% time more important than showing up at the ballot box. This is the type of event that can change America.

Doug Adams a producer at NBC Nightly News has contacted me and confirmed that they are working on a story about the Ron Paul campaign. The interviewed him at length last night and attended his speech at the Robert Taft Club in Arlington, Virginia. He wants to see lots of signs (on message of course) and lots of t-shirts. He wants to know if this Ron Paul movement is real, or if we are just only the internet. They will also be doing a photo opportunity/interview at my home. I am confident that I will do my best to represent the Ron Paul peace and freedom message.

Note this event is happening in close proximity to the Columbus Day Parade, so traffic for the event will be very large.

You can make or break this effort. I want banners on all of the highways leading to the event. Signs everywhere. Can you make this happen. Please make this go viral, let all of your friends and family know. We have 24 hours!

We will be meeting in the plaza on the north side of the famous Chicago ?Bean? in the plaza you won?t be able to miss us. Please be cordial with the security at Millennium Park, we have worked with them two times before for other events and they were very great. They have rightfully requested us to make sure that all walkways to the ?bean? are accessible and not blocked so that other tourists can access the site. For our walk the police provided for our safety as we walked on the sidewalk down Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile. Let our enthusiasm be a shining example for Ron Paul and the Peace and Freedom movement.

Hello friends,

This Saturday, Ron Paul supporters will once again be walking in their home town and city to bring attention to Ron Paul's candidacy.
Chicago needs to spotlight Ron Paul with its growing spirit of support for his "Message of Freedom" and support for the U.S. Constitution!

We will meet downtown at Millennium Park (the big silver "bean")between 11:00 am and 11:30 am. The bean is located just east of Michigan Ave in between Washington St. and Madison Ave. We have a route picked out that will maximize our efforts to large groups of people. Please bring all the signs and banners that you can. Look for a discussion on the message board.

It is extremely important that you RSVP for this event. The organizers agree that if we do not get enough people for this march we are going to call it off. We're shooting for at least a hundred people.

In my experience, I have seen that whenever the group goes on a march (ex. Iowa and Illinois Straw Polls) it phenomenally increases the number of people coming up to us asking for literature on our favorite congressman. This is a great opportunity to turn some heads! The weather will be great on Saturday. Please make every effort to be there. Thanks!!!
