I shook Dr. Paul's hand and said, "You're an inspiration, sir!" and he said "Well thank you! But remember, it's about the MESSAGE... but it's a good message, isn't it?" and I said "Yes!" Very cool experience.

Great stuff. I arrived there around 12:15, picked up a copy of the book and went up stairs only to find the entire top floor was wrapped around in a line of people. How awesome it was too see so many people standing strong for Dr. Paul and his message of freedom! The man is incredible. I got to meetup with so many people I haven't seen in so long... :D awesome.

I was so excited! Just seeing the man in person for the first time was an experience I will never forget. The closer I got to him, the more I couldn't contain my smile. I got to him within an hour and he was the nicest guy ever! The opportunity to thank him was so powerful for me. I think this was one of those moments that I can honestly say, "Now, I can die happy." Shaking his hand was like meeting God or something. It was unreal...

HUNDREDS WERE THERE! (Difficult to guess-timate?) VERY HIGH ENERGY - ELECTRIFYING! THE REVOLUTION IS ALIVE & KICKIN' & Growing exponentially! Many people had tears in their eyes in anticipation of meeting their hero-the champion of the Constitution in person for the first time! They were genuinely moved by the endearing good doctor! His movement of hope, freedom,& the restoration of the republic IS just the BEGINNING (that's the gist of what I gathered from most people.) Many inspired by congressman Paul so much so that they are enthusiastically seeking local office with SERIOUS intentions of making a real difference & NOT just waiting around or expecting someone else will protect THEIR freedom. They understand that it's THEIR responsibility! A lot of very empowered PATRIOTS eager to assist the revolution actively & boldly in the mood of Congressman Paul. Borders ran out of books so most could not get a copy for Ron to sign (many folks brought their own copies in to have signed.) :)

My girlfriend and I were there since 8:30 in the morning just to be sure we get to meet Dr. Paul. We saw him enter the building and everyone cheered. A lot of people even came in from out of town. Some of them were from Connecticut. He was such a gentleman. Borders people said the books they sold were almost a thousand. Im sure they did not expect this kind of turnout for a book signing. Not to mention those who came for the signing who already had books with them. Great day..great day...

Around 1000 people came to see Ron Paul. The Revolution is alive and well in NYC!

I was able to buy a book at 12:46pm, but they were selling quickly.

I was there at about 1245, RP at around 1:00(atleast that's when he reached the 2nd floor. Waited for about 45minutes, good turnout, I think. The line was still snaking through the aisles as I left. My first meet, very cool.

It was good to see him and shake the mans hand. Make no mistake he is the man. He attracted a large crowd (around 750 people by my guess). So it ended up being a bit rushed.

Publisher 'set' the amount of books to carry. They sold out QUICKLY. People could still go meet him. We were asked in advance what personalized inscription we wanted, yet told at the table, Ron's People nixed that idea.

He LOOKED GREAT!! HE WAS SO NICE!! I was there at 11, and left at 3, and he was STILL inside signing.

I finally found a parking meter at 1:30 - walked to the store by 1:40, and the book was sold out and the line filled the whole store! I was pleasantly surprised to see so many people interested in meeting Ron Paul today! All the Ron Paul shirts and hats and buttons on so many awake and aware American patriots!
So I said hello to a couple of like-minded strangers on line and left.
I will hopefully get a picture with Ron tonight in Newark, at the Murray Sabrin reception, that's what I really want!

I didn't "meet up" with anyone there...I did not, against my better instincts, show up at 11:45 to get a jump on the crowd, and of course, they had already sold out of "The Revolution." I ran 6 blocks north, and 3 east to Strand. Guess what? No Ron Paul books, whatsoever.

No problem, I thought. I'll be creative. After I trekked back to Borders, I scoured the place looking for a copy of the Constitution. "You're not the first person with that idea," the indie Borders employee said. Thanks, chief.

so I take the 4 express up to Union Square and reach the 4th floor of Barnes & Nobles. Hallelujah! 2 copies left. I bought one. Then on my way back to Wall Street. The line was still active, so I figured I had a shot. It's around 2:30, and I go to the back of the line. Sweet! Dr. Paul was more gentle and unassuming than he seems on television. He politely shook me hand as I told him I gave him a max contribution. My prize: a photo with the esteemed Dr. Paul!

Awesome! The last book signing I went to was for Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, and that turnout was nothing compared to this. Ron Paul is bigger than a rock star! I'm amazed at how he can maintain his schedule, write a book in his spare time, and always remain so affable and gracious. What a truly amazing individual.
