Happy Holidays Volunteers!

The Greater NYC Ron Paul Action Group is working with Food Bank For New York City to collect canned goods for hungry New Yorkers. Please join the rest of our volunteers in bringing in nonperishable food donations and putting them in the boxes located in our Ron Paul NYC HQ AT 515 West 29th Street. The top ten most needed items include canned beans, milk, fruit, vegetable, juice, meat, fish, soup, stew and peanut butter. Our Food Drive Donations will be picked up Thursday 12/20/07 just in time to provide an extra holiday hand to New Yorkers. Our goal is 1200 pounds of food for hungry New Yorkers this Holiday season- that?s 1.2 pounds per meetup group member!

Two million New Yorkers are at risk of hunger. The Food Bank distributes food to more than 1,000 emergency community and community food programs and helping to provide more than 250,000 free meals served. To learn more about the Food Bank visit
