Fellow New Yorkers:

I hope everyone is enjoying a well deserved rest after a week of either being in Minnesota and Rallying for the Republic, or remaining in New York and seething at the treatment of our delegates at the Republican National Convention.

On Monday September 1, the day before the Rally for the Republic, the Campaign for Liberty held a Leadership Summit during which Ron Paul and his staff shared his vision of how we as leaders in the freedom movement will be successful in achieving REAL change in national and local politics. With exciting new online tools for the Precinct Leader Program and a new social networking site soon to be released, the Campaign for Liberty is now in its next phase.

His marching orders to those of us who attended the Summit were clear: go home to your states and cities and share this information with your fellow patriots who are ready, willing and able to keep moving forward with the Revolution.

That is why this Tuesday at Old Bridge in the upstairs dining area we are meeting to go over the specific structure, goals and methods the Campaign for Liberty has shared with us, as well as how we will organize ourselves to fully advance our cause. A specific goal at a local level will be to have a New York State Campaign for Liberty Convention. Pennsylvania is having their convention this September 13; lets not fall too far behind.

Here is a video of Ron Paul at the Leadership Summit in Minneapolis this past Monday:

I hope to see you all there! College students are especially encouraged to attend!
