And there really is no better way that I've found to do that than regular running or walking. The Rose Bowl has a nice 3.3 mile track, but that is just the beginning of this group. There are many other loops connected to the Rose Bowl Loop that provide different running surfaces and views. Just off the Basic Rose Bowl trail is everything from dirt trails, beautiful neighborhood sidewalks, bridges, fire roads, hill climbs, and seasonal streams. There is no reason for your run to be boring!
The idea of this group is to get members to comfortably run 5 mile loops in around an hour, a couple days a week. To get there, we will start with 3 mile loops, which can be walked or run depending on the day. If that's not enough for you, just tack on another loop that you already know! It's that easy.
Right now we will walk on Monday mornings, and run the identical loop on Wednesday evenings. Depending on interest we can add days later.
I'll keep adding new trails as we go, typically 3 mile loops. Be mindful that different trails having different meeting locations indicated on the schedule.
