SERVICE: Rebuilding Together Oakland

We will be joining forces again this year with the Rotaract Club of Central Alameda County to renovate homes belonging to low-income homeowners. Every year Rebuilding Together Oakland organizes and deploys over 2,000 volunteers to over 40 homes and non-profit facilities across the city of Oakland to repair, revitalize and implement energy efficiency modifications. Come support this large effort!

All houses will be within walking distance from one another. Tools including breakfast will be provided. Please wear clothing you are not afraid to get dirty or worn.

The team will be scraping for later painting, while wearing protective gear. All volunteers for this site must be 18+ years of age. Please bring your own coffee. This site should be wrapping up by noon.

What to bring: FILL refillable water bottle

Wear a hat for the sun and sunblock

Closed toe shoes, NO shorts, please

If you wish to drive/carpool, please comment below. We will meet 7 am in the parking lot next to the Amtrak Station and Color Me Mine.

Please plan to be on site at 8am for registration and a brief training.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
