Welcome to our Club Meeting - Rotary today; Wednesday, July 10 at 6:15pm in Room 123. This is also our first meeting for the 2013-2014 Rotary Year.
All interested and potential members are invited. Also in attendance will be other Rotarians from the area.
Speaker : Rafia Zahir-Uddin, AIDS United.
Rafia Zahir-Uddin is a Program Associate for the Access to Care initiative, the largest grant making portfolio at AIDS United in Washington, DC. Prior to working joining the Access to Care portfolio, she assisted in the management of the organization’s AmeriCorps program. Rafia has previously served as a Program Fellow for Junior Achievement’s Mobile Finance Park helping to oversee an experiential financial literacy center at the American Museum of Finance for middle and high school students. As a Program Fellow, she also assisted in curriculum development for programming in the Middle East and North Africa. In the past, she previously worked at American Friends of DVI (Dental Volunteers for Israel) as a Program Intern to assist in organizational and programmatic development and Public Policy intern at the National Organization of Women and the International Immigrants Foundation.

We will meet at the Wilson Building (Offices of the DC Mayor & DC City Council) in Room 123, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. We are about 2 blocks from the White House. Please use D Street, NW entrance which is around the building.
Wilson Building is accessible via metrorail which is the Federal Triangle Station (Orange Line) or Metro Center Station (Red, Orange and/or Blue Lines).
